In October 2018, Kuipers Woudsend was awarded the KIWA product certificate K99096/01.
With this certificate, KIWA confirms that there is justified confidence that Kuipers Woudsend supplies single- and double-walled vertical cylindrical steel storage tanks up to 150 m³ that comply with the KIWA assessment guideline BRL-K756/03.
According to Philip Boot, Sales Manager of Kuipers Woudsend, obtaining the KIWA certificate was a logical and well-founded step, given market developments and the company’s position within that market.
“In recent years, we have seen an increase in demand for stainless steel KIWA tanks in the food and dairy industry.
We have long had certified personnel and a fully implemented quality assurance system, and had already executed several orders under full KIWA supervision.
After securing another order, we consulted with KIWA and immediately entered the certification process during its execution.
It greatly helped that in June 2018 we were already nominated by Bureau Veritas as certificate holder for the latest ISO 9001:2015 standard.”
